October 13th is the eighth "World Thrombosis Day" (World Thrombosis Day, WTD). With the rapid development of China's economy, China's medical and health system has become increasingly sound, and health has become an important symbol of national prosperity and national prosperity. However, with the advent of the age of aging, the number of patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases continues to increase, and thrombotic diseases have become the number one killer threatening human health and life. Therefore, the International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis (ISTH) establishes October 13th every year as "World Thrombosis Day", hoping to increase public awareness of thrombotic diseases through WTD and promote the standardized diagnosis and treatment of thrombotic diseases.
